okie, i wanna blog about some stuff.

although i know not alot of people is going to read this, but I just wan it to be heard, I just wan to show my appreciation to everyone who has helped during my journey as a P

Looking at the present condition now, I'm somewhat so glad that I managed to pull through the one year of tormenting stress and demoralisation.
Of course there's once when I totally broke down, but peiting was there to clear up the mess for me. I'm always the one who's saying I wan to quit, but peiting will not be the one to say that, she's the one who will die die hang on. yep, prob she's taking things less lightly then me.
No matter how much she disappoints me in her attitude towards work, but sometimes she should just be applaudable because she comes and help only when i'm on the perk of dying off.
The fact is that at least she helps.
and the thing she is best in is shouting at mr yee when mr yee is really going off track. That incident last yr in staffroom with mr yee, mr yeo and peiting, was indeed an unforgettable one.
And I am glad that pt is 'gong si fen ming' enough, to really work things out even when we had problems, although her commitment levels in CO is really low, but she did help in times of emergency luh.
seriously i couldnt have survived without her.

(so to teckjin: U cant be the only pillar)

Problems faced last year wasnt light
No money for practices etc.
but I'm glad and I appreciate those who came in and help me with it, or some form of moral encouragement. Like Jing Ni, etc, basically the whole committee.
I have to admit, Mr yee did help, to help us find performances. to keep CO activities going on.
Like he find one opportunity for us to perform, the rest is up to me to go and navigate the rest of the problems.

I guess it was the SYF that really bond the current J2s tgt, and the fact that I wouldnt get much of a prob with attendance. cos I just did my attendance list for whole j2s to be keyed into school system. I got 75% and above for each practice. Thats applaudable yea?

And I wanna show my appreciation to SinYing, who reluctantly be the student conductor during last yr de outdoor performances. I know its hard on her, but I'm still very glad by the fact that she overcome her fear and stood up on the stage.
Followed by Amy, who was the student conductor for the j1 civics performance.
Initially it was supposed to be Jing Ni, but she disappeared out of sudden. and thanks amy for substituting in her place and carry on the job as student conductor.


For people in J2s:
I wanna say something.
I went back to CO like 2 weeks ago.
Zhao lao shi praised us for carrying out the J1 civics performance so successfully.
he supported his praises by the fact that there're many more newcomers joining co after the performance.
I dunno how relevant is that, but I just feel that this is a praise from Zhao lao Shi that ought to be known to u all ((:
ur efforts paid off, sacrificing the time for maths test for the performance. thanks.

And I just wan to let everyone know, I appreciate u j2s for turning up for practices frequently enough. For the presence of each and every one of you boost my moral to carry on strong.
Especially for erhu section, linda and jingmin. I know there's very little ppl in erhu section, and it really takes alot of courage to play when there's so few erhu peeps. I'm glad that most of the time, both of u didn't left me alone, cos i am also, as afraid as you 2 to play in the orchestra when there's only so few erhu peeps.

and Ivy. I wan to be honest here.
she didn't fulfill her job as sectional leader. so basically im the one taking care of erhu peeps and stuff here. but i still appreciate that she turn up for performances though (:
And her irresponsibility serves as a problem for me. cos I have to take care of erhu section as well. nevertheless, I realized, all these was blessing in disguise. cos with that, I know how to repair an erhu from top to bottom. cool ((:


And to seniors, esp the ex comm who decides the co07 committee:
I used to rant, how hard life is difficult for me, to work with a person with total exact opposite personality of me, and thats peiting.
but when I was choosing the new comm for co08 batch
I realised, the combination of me and peiting would have been the best combination for problems and situations in CO in JJ.
No matter how unhappy I was, I agree that this was the best for CO.

and thanks serene and peiying for offering invaluable advices when I'm really in need of it. =D

And that time when I took over, I knew nuts about things in JJCO.
It is totally different as compared to sec sch co.
I felt that I've been left in a lurch.
full of problems etc, nobody came and help me T.T furthermore then i was having prob with pt, that makes situations worse only.
But now i realised, those are the things that I have to learn myself.
cos now no matter how much I tell the current P the loopholes and etc, he just cant understand. and I suppose, those are the things which he really got to learn for himself.


and true enough, I've learnt alot alot things from 1 year of experience in JJCCO, although most of this weren't and can't be written on SGC or testimonial, the things that I've learnt are invaluable. Even if u got tens of millions, you couldnt buy it.



lol, and i appreciate the j1s for joining CO. ((:
the times when u all arrived earlier than me on Saturday morning, lol, that really makes me very happy. really. it is sort of moral boost for me, and a pleasant start for the practices.



In my POV
no matter how much you disappoints me, no matter how much u angst me, no matter how many times a few of you gave me attitude and no longer now in co,
the fact that you are or you were in CO and had went thru the SYF period is the reason to treat each and every one of you nicely.
and because I love each and every one of you in CO.


I fianlly found the reason to why I love everyone in CO
cos, I love CO
why
cos I like the music, i like the feeling to be part of a big group that produces nice music.
and CO is the place where I found my self esteem, by the fact that each event and activity were carried out successfully.
although I admit I am biased, for I treat people who are supposed to work with me nicer, like for example, peiting, cass, ming xuan, amy basically ppl in comm. and the few j1s in present comm now.
people whom I have higher tolerance levels to, are peiting and teckjin.
although some doesnt deserve me to be nice to them at all, I still stubbornly and stupidly choose to treat them nice.

hohohoho.. okayys update!
yday went to block party at blk 204 to perform.. obviously everyone of us is unprepared.
the beats and everything goes off.. =D but we manage to pull thru for the whole song yeah!

and thanks for everyone who had put in the effort to sing the mambo part loud!

the audiences there were the extremes, the aged and the kids.
haha i think juz that we happen to play a song that is farmiliar to them, the organiser says that we were very good.. and wanted us to perform on september and november for other events! hoho
but yet, everything haven confirm and settle yet la.

muz really thanks Mr Yeo for guiding and giving sinying the courage and everything to conduct.. haha. and muz thank him for staying with the rest of us until all the instruments are kept in the co room. cuz obviously mr yee went home first.

the buffet there was quite nice la! haha.. quite an exposure and learning experience for everybody. a pity for those who missed this performance =D

anyway, will try to upload more pic! but i have to search for people who's holding all the photos

ANNOUNCEMENTS
1) CO will resume after everybody's common test
2) We managed to get $2500. although its not alot, but will last us thru
3) When CO resume, zhao lao shi will come back wor!

Thanks to everybody who has put in their efforts to make the performance a success. esp Mr yeo, Sin Ying, pt, and those who stayed to settle all the instruments in CO room, and to each one of the musician who has put in effort and turn up. last but not least. mr yee la, cuz he got us the chance to perform.
-other people like the aunty who locks the doors, the j2 guy i think is tommy and his fren who sacrifice the classroom for us to prac on thurs, and meiqi from eclub who get all the mogumogu drinks and cookies into the room for us, and ya mr yeo paid for them all.

YO update update! hahas cuz the blog is like so deadd

UPCOMING ACTIVITIES for CO =p
4th July 07 (WED)- a talk from somebody from dunno somewhere!! something regarding to CO. haha

5th JulY 07 (THURS)- 9 people participating in SYF presentation going down to SCH for rehearsal=) Early dismissal time still cannot be confirmed. cuz muz wait for MR LiM to send email to teachers! ATTIRE= FULL SCHOOL UNIFORM WITH BADGE.

10th July 07 (TUES)- 9 people participating in syf presentation report to CO by 5.30pm! RMB too bring along ur blazers on that day. and court shoes too=). Expected ending time 10pm and reaching school at around 10.30pm. Inform ur parents. We'll be eating dinner before that, cuz dinner not provided at SCH.

11th July 07 (WED)- a talk by another person haha. EXACT DETAILS WILL BE UPLOADED.

20th July 07 (FRIDAY)- PERFORMANCE at BLK 204 de big big open space for block party! VIP mdm yu foo yee shoon. SORRY if i spell the name incorrectly.. she's a MP.

things to note: those 2 talks on wednesday is COMPULSORY for everyone. we'll be inviting people from CLDDS to come over to join us if possible.haha
PERFORMANCE is compulsory for everyone, that is needless to say=p

ALL practices is as usual 2.30 to 5.30 on wednesday,(except for next 2 wednesday practices) and 9 to 12 on saturdays. pls arrive 15 minutes earlier to get the chairs arranged. MR NG, the one who taught tan bo will be coming down to conduct us for free! haha cuz CO fund is left with 5dollars and we cant possibly ask zhao to come down. AND i swear i wun be late:p

okayys here comes an interestin topic to talk about=)
the 9 people participating in the SYF presentation went down to NYJC for rehearsal on last saturday.. haha dunno why our trip to nyjc is not very shun everytime.. first when we reached sch in the morning, all the shutters in the school are closed! that means they cant get the instruments even though i have co room keys. GO is not open. OK so GG, went to NYJC to borrow from them.

second. the lady bus driver couldnt find her way to NYJC, so we were sitting in the small small bus going 2 to 3 rounds of the same estate in serangoon. but luckily we make it on time. =)

THEN during the 15 minute break during the practice, something awesome happened! the conductor actually said
"today we were supposed to start at 9. But we dragged until 9.43am then start. When i came to nyjc, I saw Mr Yee, the TIC of JJCCO leading his members to NYJ. i was impressed cuz no other teachers from other JCs actually brought their students to NJY.

then when i reach the CCA room, everything was in a mess because the room was used as an exam room for CT. some njy students started packing the room. Mr Yee actually asked his students to help out in arranging the chairs! ( but it was me who got the 9 ppl from our co to help out!)

After that when he saw that the room was dirty, he actually went to find a broom and dustpan to sweep the floor!( but it was actually jing min and linda who swept the floor)

And people here, do u noe who is he? He's a professor! YOU all can ask JJ students,(so he got me to verify that he is indeed a professor.) I was actually amazed that a professor actually did all these things. and furthermore, this is NYJC, not JJC, but he still make an effort to get the floor cleaned. I felt happy for JJC to actually have such a great teacher!."

Woots, mr yee got praised by the conductor! wahahaha, but none of the 9 of us told MrYee that he was praised. He went to sengkang to collect his data halfway thru. haha
Mr Yee is awesome right! LOL but something good to say, he was the one who go to find broom la, although he din sweep it himself.

ya, people Mr Yee did brought some glory to JJ. haha.
